At 20 years old Janie James was signed to a major Label ( Jive records) counting Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and Britney Spears  as her label mates, as part of girl band “ THE FLAVOR”

After attending performing Arts school she became a jobbing actor for 10 years when working mainly in television.

At 46 she is mainly working as a lounge singer having residencies in some of Manchesters beautiful bars, hotels and casinos
