Why should I be Miss Manchester?

First of all, I would absolutely love to be given the title Miss Manchester.

In fact if I was crowned I think it would come as a massive shock to me!

I have entered the pageant to push myself way out of my comfort zone and to try something very new. I see taking part in Miss Manchester as an amazing opportunity to be able to do what I want to do and help other people who are less fortunate, whether that be at home where the heart is in Manchester, or abroad.

It’s always been a dream and a goal of mine to be in a position where I am able to help those less fortunate and take part in lots of charity work.

Knowing that I may be able to change some people’s lives for the better in any way possible makes me happy and it makes me smile to see others smiling. It also sounds wild, but it’s also a life goal of mine to do a charity sky dive which I would definitely, again, be pushed out of my comfort zone to do.

I am a born and bred, down to earth, true proud Mancunian with strong determination and commitment to what I believe in. I am extremely proud of my wonderful city and see Miss Manchester as an amazing opportunity, not only to build my self confidence, but to interact with all types of people, making new friends along the way, raising community spirit and raising awareness for causes and helping those in need.
